When it comes to hitting the big slab in a chopper or a cruiser,
the nation’s leading motorcycle windshield manufacturers turn to Lucite acrylic
sheet for the top-ofthe- line in clarity and formability.
“We’ve been using the same Lucite L grade continuous cast acrylic sheet since 1971”,
Bob Eggerichs, president of Slipstreamer, Inc., a manufacturer of motorcycle windshields
says, “because of its optical clarity, precision thickness and tolerance. It has
superior formability without affecting the optics, which is so important.” He adds,
“The Lucite L grade is better overall for what we do.”
Lucite sheet for motorcycle windshields meets U.S. DOT-approved road usage standards
and is offered in clear and solar optical grade, and seven gradient tints to provide
maximum clarity resistance to rain, wind and noise.
