A virtual exploration of the “Carry Me!” exhibit, this 90-second video flies you through multiple display rooms at the Dixon Gallery. These exquisite vintage handbags made of Lucite acrylic are filmed from a variety of interesting angles that help showcase the intricate stapes, designs and color of these unique pieces.

CARRY ME

Beginning October 18th, the Dixon Gallery and Gardens in Memphis, Tenn., will feature a unique collection of vintage Lucite acrylic handbags. The 150 handbags are from the collection of Memphian Caryn Scheidt, who began collecting the bags some 20 years ago because of their “artistic flavor.”
